Divison of powers: the conception and presentconstitutional practice

Abstract

The article describes some problems of constitutional division of powers and shows how division of powers is exercised in Russia nowadays. The author shows all branches of powers co-existing with three main branches and analyzes the mechanisms of separation as well as of cooperation of powers. The article suggests measures to improve the checks and balances system for state authorities in the Russian Federation.
